  • Using your PC or Mac, write the Pi image to your microSD card using an imager like Balena Etcher. You’ll need additional space for Pixelcade so in general, use an SD card size that is double the size of the image. The following RetroPie images for Raspberry Pi have been tested (Google is your friend to find them).
